Terms of Service — Collab Home SMS Communications
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation in the SMS/text message communications program provided by Collab Home, operated by Collab CA LLC (“Collab Home,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By selecting SMS/text message notifications, providing your mobile phone number, and submitting the communication preferences form, you agree to receive recurring transactional SMS/text messages from Collab Home related to property management services.
Program Description
Collab Home SMS/text messages may include property management-related communications, including:
- Maintenance updates
- Leasing communications
- Showing confirmations
- Application updates
- Rent reminders
- Payment-related notices
- Move-in and move-out information
- Property notices
- Safety alerts
- Operational coordination, including scheduling for inspections, deliveries, access, and similar property management activities
This SMS/text message program is intended for individuals who have an existing or prospective relationship with Collab Home, including residents, applicants, prospective tenants, service providers, and other users involved in Collab Home property management activities.
No promotional or marketing SMS/text messages are sent under this SMS/text message program.
Consent
SMS/text message notifications are optional. Consent to receive SMS/text messages is not a condition of purchase, renting any property, using Collab Home services, signing a lease, making a payment, scheduling a showing, submitting a maintenance request, or completing any transaction.
You may submit the communication preferences form without selecting SMS/text message notifications. Leaving SMS/text message notifications unchecked means you will not be enrolled in SMS/text message notifications.
By opting in, you represent that you are the authorized user of the mobile phone number provided, or that you have authority to consent to receive SMS/text messages at that number.
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on your tenancy status, inquiries, maintenance requests, leasing activity, property interactions, and other property management activity. Typical message frequency is approximately 1–5 messages per month, although frequency may vary.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Collab Home does not charge you for SMS/text messages.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-Out and Help
You may opt out of SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will not receive further SMS/text messages from this number unless you opt in again.
You may reply HELP for assistance or contact information.
You may reply START to re-subscribe after opting out.
Privacy
Your participation in the SMS/text message program is subject to our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information related to communication preferences and SMS/text message communications.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile phone number or SMS/text message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Program Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS/text message program, or update these Terms, at any time. Any changes will be effective when posted on this page, unless otherwise stated.
Your continued participation in the SMS/text message program after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
